1) Information We Collect
- You provide: optional support messages (e.g. via "Send Feedback").
- On your device only: PDF files are read and processed only on your device; we do not upload, store, or transmit your files or their contents to our servers or any third party.
- On your device only: the App may store locally the number of free compressions used and your subscription status so limits and access work correctly.
- No sale of personal data. We don't collect broad personal identifiers unless you send them in support messages.
2) How We Use Information
- Use your support message only to respond to your request.
- We do not use support information for marketing unless you consent.
- Subscription and payment are handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment details.
3) File Handling
- Your PDF files are used only on your own device to perform compression.
- We never see your files or receive them on our servers; there is nothing for us to delete.
- Compressed output is saved only where you choose (e.g. Files app).
- We do not build user profiles from your files.
4) Sharing
- No selling of personal data.
- Apple: if you subscribe, Apple handles payment and may provide us with anonymized or aggregate data per their policies.
- Legal/safety: if required by law or to protect rights, users, or the service.
5) Data Security
- We do not store your PDF files or their contents on our servers.
- Data that stays on your device remains on your device.
- No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we do not collect or store your files.
6) Retention
- We do not retain your PDF files (they never leave your device).
- If you contact us, we retain your message only as long as needed to respond, then delete it unless we must keep it by law.
7) Your Choices
- Delete the app to stop any future data collection.
- You may request access to or deletion of personal data you have sent us (e.g. support messages) where applicable by law by contacting us.
8) No Tracking
- We do not track you across apps, websites, or other companies' properties.
- We do not use your data for targeted advertising or share it with data brokers.
9) Children
- Not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect data from them.
10) Changes and Discontinuation
- We may update this policy; we'll notify you in-app or by other reasonable means.
- If we discontinue the app, we will provide advance notice via in-app notification when feasible.
